Here in San Diego, there is a local restaurant chain called Wahoo’s Fish Taco. It’s a fairly simple restaurant that serves up food with a Mexican, Asian and Brazilian influence. The walls and windows are covered with surf and skate stickers and it will be full of people who are much younger and much cooler than you!
You really can’t go wrong with anything that you get there, but my favorite is their shrimp tacos. They are light and cooked in a way that creates a perfect combo of sweet, savory and spicy.
Last time I was there I was inspired to give my own shrimp taco recipe a try. Full disclosure, I have ZERO idea what they put on their tacos and am honestly not sure if this tastes anything like them! What I do know is that this quick and easy recipe was absolutely delicious and I wanted to share it with you! Enjoy!
