RECIPE: Spicy Oven Toasted Chickpeas

1 (15oz) can Chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
1/4 tsp Cayanne Pepper
1/4 tsp Sea Salt (fresh cracked)
1/4 tsp Granulated Garlic
1/4 tsp Black Pepper (fresh cracked)
1 each Lime Zest (only)

Preheat Oven to 400 degrees.
Mix all of the spices (set aside lime zest for later).

Toss the chickpeas in olive oil and season well with seasoning mix.
Spread evenly on a sheetpan/cookie sheet lined with foil.

Toast in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove, toss again in the same bowl and add lime zest. Place back in the oven for 5-10 minutes.

Allow to cool on paper towels, and keep at room temperature for up to 3 days.
